The Revolution EXHIBITION!
Yesterday! 30th Oct.2011. I was part ot the Revolution Exhibition organised by Power FM
my favourate station that is all about Love! the main them was standing with the HIV Aids patients against Stigma. Its was a time to show them Gods Love, that they are also human beings.
I did a live painting where every one came we painted together as we expressed our feelings and Love on Canvas.
It was amazing to see how Art can be used as a healing tool to express how people felt. Just like music, It was singing on Canvas.

Yesterday was the Nomination day for the next President 2011-2016.
Though am nort interested in politics, I hope Ugandans will vote wisely
and we will come together to combart the vices of corruptionn injustice
tribalism and hetred and build Uganda together!
whatever is decided in politics affects us all!

Just like they say that music in food to the soul by intriguing emotions and giving some one a bright smile, Art is also a rhythm to the soul.
When you visit a new place, Your eyes blend as you meet different Art works for example Sculptural monuments on the streets, Buildings, paintings. You feel like you want to stop and look again! A place you do not want to miss is a gallery or a Museum because you want to find out Art and Culture of that City and town
Art represents Culture and Traditions of a place, this has helped Archeologists and Scientits in discovering many things!
I love Nature and Birds and enjoy as you appreciate this Painting as the Sterling Bird is looking at her friends (Mouse eater and the Ross Toraco) and amazed of how similar they are

Its been a while since i last blogged, sorry posted some thing on this blog. personally am so greatful for the time and Age we are in of Technology; Computer Era, face book. Is not it amazing to share your thoughts with the rest of the World!

Back to business, today is a public holiday (Independence) remembering the day Uganda got its independence, surely we have come a long way.

I happened to celebrate with the Norwegians their Independence on 17th- May where all the y put on their Traditional dresses called the Bunad and went on the streets and shouted to the Danish and Swedish that they are now free!

I wish we could put on our Gomasi and Kanzus and go on streets and do the same.
The question is are we really independent? still having the same British system of Education, legal system and still have to pay debts and depend on Foreign Aid with strings attached, which brings the concept of Neocolonialism.

Today Uganda VS Kenya in the African Cap of Nations Football.
You know Ugandans and Kenyans have always acted like little Brothes with an Ego of who is the best!

IMPULS!

iMPULS Stavanger was a big conference of about 2500 young people that came from all parts of the country to worship God and be equiped to know more about Him and share about Him as teens. it took place at IMI Church in Stavanger and i happened to be a guard in the security department and just to make sure the teens behave. the most amazing thing was seeing young people putting up their hands to God and declaring Him as the God of this city. by Chris Tomlin.

they also sang "oh happy day, happy day Jesus washed my sin away!. probably some of them did not even know God, but just as the book of Romans 1:18-20 says, The wrath of God is being revealed from Heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness, (19 ), since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. (20) For since the creation of the world God' s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Meaning that every human being has a longing or knows that there is a God who exists some where. i jumped in the air and putting ma hands up andgiving praises to God and even forgot my security duties (please do not tell any one). it was amazing.

To all all you guys, its always a pleasure to start a new year. we launched a new year at Hald international senter (An international senter that offers students from Norway and other countries of the world in terms of exchange to live experience, and learn from a new culture.

You see, a new year comes with new expectations, resolutions,fear and anxieties but how do you look at 2010, do you wish that your life would have ended last year and regret coming in a new year?, do you expect this year to be the same as last year or do you expect it to be a year of new opportunities, venture and new opportunity for growth in your life?

One thing i did as i entered a new year was to cast all ma resolutions, fears anxieties to a God who created the heavens and earth. He says that He is a God of new beginnings and he says in phillipians 4:5-7. "The lord is near, do not be anxious about about any thing, but in every thing by prayer and petition, with thanks giving, present your request to God, And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Jogging!

Did you know that you can learn alot of life experiences from jogging? I love jogging and those who know me well are my witnesses.i look at the jogging path or road as a journey of life. life is a journey, there was a time when we were born and its a fact of life that we will grow order and that we will die. even scientists cannot stop that.the other day a priest asked us where we are going after death!!!! and probably some people fgot scared and wondered why he could talk about death when a new year has started.i did not fear because have an assurance of eternal life through Christ Jesus.

you have to climb mountains valleys, pot halls rocks, meet people on the road who will encourage you or discourage you. and thats how life is, full of good times and bad times. i learnt to live a day at a time by running at my pace in a group of runners in order to finish the race. I always run looking forward to finish the race and win a prize not looking back wards and not dwelling so much on the past. practically jogging removes stress and keeps you healthy. so as 2010 has started, you can join the camp and try jogging and learn!!!!!!!!
